A few changes we can make with our skincare products over the winter months as the weather draws nearer. In the same way we change to a winter wardrobe, we need to adjust our skincare regimes as the weather gets colder. Cold wind and warm central heating strip skin of moisture and the most common skin complaint at this time of year is dry, dull, dehydrated skin.
Here are some tips to keep your skin super hydrated so it feels and looks good for winter…
- Using a cream-based cleanser that adds moisture as it cleanses.
- Changing a lotion moisturiser for a more richer cream, will help the skin retain essential moisture for skin that feels comfortable and nurtured. Our Shealoe Body Butter, not only suitable for all year round, but due to the high content of Shea Butter and the Aloe Vera juice to soothe is perfect for adding a richness of hydration to your skin. Not to mention our newly added Radiance Body Oil
- Using a serum packed with Hyaluronic Acid, which helps our skin hold 1000 times it weight in moisture, as it infuses the epidermis with moisture for a skin that functions healthily and looks plumped and dewy.
- Treat yourself to a weekly face masque, mix in facial oils, hydrolats for more skin benefits
- Use a facial oil packed with rich oils. Our Face Oil - Rejuvenate or Illuminate. Made with occlusive oils so when applied over, even a dampened skin, or moisturiser it will help to seal in moisture to prevent transdermal water loss
- Use a lip scrub to help lightly exfoliate and smooth the lips to prevent any flaking
- Regularly apply lip balm
